Sudan’s military pushes back rebels in second city of Omdurman
Army takes control of RSF territories in Mansoura, Murabaat and Elfitihab, and seizes weapons and ammunition depot.

According to reports, Sudan's military forces have moved into Omdurman, the nation's second-largest city, capturing certain regions that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a rival rebel organization, had previously controlled.
The city, which is located just over the Nile River from the capital, Khartoum, was said to be experiencing fighting for a second day on Wednesday. According to Hiba Morgan, Al Jazeera's Sudan correspondent, the army has now taken over the former RSF areas in Mansoura, Murabaat, and Elfitihab.
