Accused of beating up a girl who was raped and died at a hospital in Jharkhand Unrest broke out Tuesday night in the Jagannathpur neighborhood of Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district following the death of a girl following an alleged rape. The offender was apprehended and beaten by irate villagers until police arrived and took him into custody.
The girl was discovered unconscious at around 7 p.m. next to an Anganwadi center behind her home, according to reports. When her family found her in a messy state, they transported her right away to the Jagannathpur Community Health Centre. They recommended that she receive additional care at a hospital in Champua. But while receiving treatment, Champua physicians pronounced her dead.by residents
