Child safety regulations for Coldplay concerts in Ahmedabad: no children under five are allowed, and teenagers must wear earphones.

New rules have been implemented in response to worries about child safety as anticipation for Coldplay's performances at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26 grows. Children under five are not permitted to attend the event, and earplugs are required for those aged five to eighteen in order to protect them from loud noises, according to the Ahmedabad District Child Protection Unit. A legal notice has been issued to lead singer Chris Martin and the concert organisers, enforcing these child safety measures.

The rules were recently released in response to a petition submitted by Chandigarh-based professor of sociology Punditrao Dharenavar. Stressing the risks of sound levels above 120 dB, which are typical at large-scale events, Dharenavar stated, "The District Child Protection Unit swiftly acted on my email petition." Over one lakh spectators are anticipated to attend the Coldplay shows, which are a part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. This could be the band's greatest stadium audience ever.

Citing the dangers of loud music and flashing lights, organizers have been told to keep sound levels below 120 dB and to keep kids off the stage. Children's hearing and general health may be negatively impacted by such circumstances, according to the World Health Organization.
